Management Accountant

Our client is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to support the accounting, analytics, and reporting functions of their business. Fulltime role, Hybrid with a central CBD brand new office with full facilities.
This role is integral to the Finance Team and Shared Services function, providing financial insights and assisting in reporting and decision-making processes.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role involves analysing financial and operational data, preparing reports, maintaining pricing models, and supporting audits and financial compliance.
You will:
- Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly management and margin reports using Power BI/Power Pivot.
- Design and produce ad-hoc client reports using Excel macros, Power BI, and web-based portals > you will be an Excel expert!
- Create financial models based on defined parameters.
- Conduct trend and pricing analysis.
- Monitor and report on key contracts.
- Update and maintain pricing models & rate calculators.
- Assist with tender pricing and business case evaluations.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to manage client reporting requests.
- Assist with month-end financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations.
- Aid with internal and external audits.
- Support accounts payable and finance functions as required.
We are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years of post-graduation accounting experience.
- Experience working in a multi-entity corporation preferred.
- CA/CPA qualification (or ongoing qualification) is highly regarded.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power BI and Power Pivot.
- Ability to develop user-adaptable web-based reports in Power BI/Power Pivot is required.
