Our client is on the hunt for a dedicated and proactive Forklift driver/Store Person to join our production plant in Laverton. If you have a passion for safety, quality, and operational efficiency, we want you on our team!
Your Role:
As our Forklift driver/Store Person, you'll be at the heart of ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse/factory operations, with a focus on:
- Efficient Logistics Coordination: Organise couriers and maintain accurate freight records to ensure timely deliveries.
- Unloading Goods: Stock shelves, complete putaways, and move heavy pallets and goods using counterbalance and high-reach forklifts.
- Receiving & Scanning Goods: Check and inspect incoming goods against orders, ensuring everything is accounted for and in top condition.
- Picking & Packing: Pick orders from the shelves, carefully pack goods, and prepare shipments to customers.
- Meeting Production Schedules: Ensure production stays on track, minimizing wastage and meeting deadlines.
- Maintaining Housekeeping Standards: Keep the warehouse neat and organised at all times.
- Championing Safety & Compliance: Follow and enforce safety, health, and environmental regulations, while reporting any issues promptly.
- Leading by Example: Set a high standard for yourself and your team when it comes to safety and work ethic.
- Ensuring Quality Standards: Uphold company policies and procedures, regularly conducting quality checks to ensure top-tier standards.
- Creating a Safe Work Environment: Prioritise safety, cleanliness, and adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
