HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of APS6 level Business Generalist located in either SURRY HUILLS NSW OR DEAKIN, ACT.
About the Role:
The APS6 level Business Generalist will support the OAAI Operations Team in managing the new internal Auslan Interpreting service, along with improving the Auslan interpreting workflow.
This role involves coordinating, planning, and assisting in the development of policies, projects, and strategies related to workplace accessibility and inclusion.
You will provide detailed technical, policy, and operational support, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes for staff with disabilities. The APE'S Business Generalist will also focus on continuous improvement, data analysis, and the delivery of key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Auslan interpreting booking system, supporting staff and delegating bookings to relevant parties.
- Oversee Auslan interpreting workflow and address escalations, feedback, or complaints.
- Implement, evaluate, and improve the Auslan Interpreting Program, fostering collaboration with staff and external stakeholders.
- Lead OAAI projects and deliver outcomes in line with the Agency's project management framework.
- Capture data to measure performance and prioritise insights for future actions.
- Contribute to business improvement strategies, focusing on enhancing OAAI services and workplace practices.
- Work independently, or with minimal guidance, in specific OAAI areas of expertise.
