HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of APS6 level Case Manager on behalf of our client, a leading government agency.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving the experience of participants in the scheme by managing and resolving external review applications efficiently and effectively.
About the Role:
As an APS6 level Case Manager, you will:
- Work under limited direction to undertake complex case management responsibilities.
- Lead, plan, and manage resources to resolve issues and risks across various case management activities.
- Provide technical, professional, policy, and operational support in complex matters.
- Manage ART applications related to reviewable decisions under the relevant Act, including access and plan reviews.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide expert advice and support.
- Apply alternative dispute resolution methods to resolve applications effectively.
- Prepare case documentation and participate in Case Conferences, Conciliations, and Hearings.
- Assess and respond to priority and risk matters that impact participants and Scheme sustainability.
- Develop participant plans reflecting funded supports.

About You:
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience in case management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy frameworks.
- Experience in alternative dispute resolution is highly desirable.
- A background in disability services is an advantage.
