The APS6 Level Technical Advisory role based in PARRAMATTA NSW, is vital in providing high-quality, specialised clinical and technical advice to ensure participant's unique and complex needs are met. You'll support operational consistency, guide decision-making frameworks, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve positive participant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer subject matter expertise using a coaching and mentoring approach.
- Provide sensitive advice on appropriate supports to achieve participant outcomes.
- Manage complex and sensitive conversations regarding funding approvals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistency in decision-making.
- Deliver high-quality written and verbal advice while maintaining accurate records.

About You:
You're a skilled professional with strong clinical and operational knowledge. Your communication and leadership skills set you apart, enabling you to provide nuanced advice and manage complex situations with confidence.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications in one of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Speech Pathology
- Physiotherapy
- Psychology
- Registered Nursing (eligible for AHPRA registration)
- Social Work
- Mental Health Practitioner
- Specialist Behavioural Support Practitioner
- Medico Legal Allied Health
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in disability, hospital, or aged care settings.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise.
