APS 4 Level Privacy Assistant

As a Privacy Assistant (APS4 level ) in our client's Legal Services team, you will play an essential role in providing accurate, timely, and practical support to privacy-related matters within a nationally significant Agency located in Sydney NSW.
This role focuses on privacy remediation, efficient recordkeeping, and process improvement while building strong networks across the Agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remediate privacy complaints and incidents promptly
- Ensure accurate and thorough recordkeeping
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Engage in occasional project-based work
- Support new systems and tools within the Privacy team
- Foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Promote professional, ethical standards and build team expertise in privacy
