HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to step into the critical role of EL2 Level Service Guidance & Practice Leader located in Newcastle NSW. This role will see you lead a team with significant authority and responsibility, driving strategic initiatives that enhance service delivery and policy guidance. You will manage complex projects, coordinate key outcomes, and represent the organisation in high-level negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of strategies to enhance guidance material and improve participant experiences.
- Ensure guidance materials are accessible, clear, and apply principles of behavioural economics.
- Report on key deliverables, aligning with national support priorities and driving continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and protocols in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee team performance, workflow, and strategic priorities.

Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in providing strategic direction, business planning, and performance monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and compliance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving sensitive and complex issues.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, with a strategic approach to policy development.
- Ability to lead and manage diverse teams or work areas.
- Extensive stakeholder engagement and negotiation expertise.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong policy development and interpretation skills in sensitive organisational and political contexts.
- Experience liaising with government, industry, and community groups on complex issues.
