HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a motivated APS6 Level Guidance Lead for a government department based in NEWCASTLE NSW.
This APS 6 level role involves leading the development of clear, accessible guidance that supports participants and reflects organisational policy. You will collaborate with stakeholders, interpret legislation, and contribute to the continuous improvement of policies and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and updating participant-centred internal and external guidance.
- Ensuring compliance with plain English and accessibility standards.
- Analysing data to support policy alignment and best practices.
- Establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Supporting strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing multiple priorities with accuracy and adherence to governance protocols.

Desirable qualifications and experience:
- Experience in a policy-focused role.
- Familiarity with SAP, CRM, and PACE systems.
