HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an APS 6 level Senior Program / Project Officer for an exciting opportunity within a government agency focused on digital health innovation. This position supports key national programs, including Aged Care, Allied Health, and Real-Time Prescription Monitoring.
This role can be located oin either Canberra ACT, Sydney NSW or Brisbane QLD.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Senior Project Managers in end-to-end project delivery.
- Monitoring, tracking, and reporting on project deliverables to meet time, cost, and quality metrics.
- Managing project risks, actions, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAIDD).
- Developing and updating project schedules in partnership with Senior Project Managers.
- Assisting in strategic planning, program management, and policy development.
- Engaging with stakeholders to align project objectives with business needs.
- Supporting change management initiatives, including training material development.
- Providing technical and policy advice on complex project requirements.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong project management experience, including risk and issue management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to provide technical and policy advice on complex problems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in strategic planning and business analysis.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory) and eligibility to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
