APS 6 level Finance Officer

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer (APS6 level) to join a dedicated team supporting workplace accessibility and inclusion located in either SURRY HILLS NSW OR DEAKIN ACT. This role focuses on procurement, financial management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure staff with disability receive the necessary workplace supports.
About the Role:
As the Finance Officer (APS6 level) within the OAAI Operations Team, you will:
- Deliver financial management services, including procurement, sourcing, purchasing, acquittals, and accruals.
- Ensure quality assurance, governance, and timely provision of goods and services.
- Manage contracts and work collaboratively to improve staff support outcomes.
- Engage with finance and procurement teams to streamline processes.
- Oversee financial reporting, month-end processes, and budget management.
- Ensure compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and internal policies.
- Identify and resolve challenges to enhance workplace accessibility solutions.
- Work independently while contributing to the agency's broader objectives.
