HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of HR Generalist Diversity Equity and Inclusion (APS6 level) on behalf of our client, located in either SURRY HILLS NSW OR DEAKIN ACT. This role is part of a dedicated and dynamic team focused on creating a more inclusive workplace across a range of diverse communities.
About the Role:
As an Diversity Equity and Inclusion (APS6 level) in the Accessibility and Inclusion team, you will provide expert guidance and leadership within our client's agency. You'll be responsible for managing complex tasks and relationships while working to deliver inclusive and equitable outcomes for all staff. This role requires an ability to anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional expertise and services that contribute to the success of OAAI and the agency.
- Anticipate challenges and develop solutions to improve workplace outcomes.
- Lead and manage projects and initiatives related to accessibility and inclusion, ensuring strategic alignment.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships, ensuring positive engagement and outcomes.
- Contribute to policy development, team objectives, and business improvement strategies.
- Support the team with decision-making and performance management for team members.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, with excellent communication skills.

- Experience in managing projects, prioritising competing demands, and executing initiatives effectively.
