HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced APS 6 Level Technical Business Analyst (Technology and Systems) to join a forward-thinking team driving digital accessibility and inclusion. About the Role:
As a Technical Business Analyst in the Technology and Systems team, you will play a key role in developing business requirements, mapping workflows, and supporting the transition of multiple service management functions into a centralised Jira Service Desk. This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to support inclusive technology and digital accessibility.
- Conduct gap analyses, gather and evaluate requirements, and analyse data to inform decision-making.
- Develop functional specifications incorporating technical standards and business needs.
- Map, enhance, and optimise service management processes and workflows.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, including staff with disability, line managers, and enabling services, to drive inclusive solutions.
- Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and business improvement initiatives.
- Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within a structured framework.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex relationships.
- Experience conducting audits, gap analyses, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to understand, analyse, and recommend technical and business process enhancements.
- Experience in planning, managing, and executing projects in a dynamic environment.
- A background in co-design and consultation with diverse internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Jira Service Desk or similar platforms (desirable but not essential).
