Arborist

Are you passionate about trees and looking to grow your career in arboriculture? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Arborist to join a dedicated team maintaining public green spaces, streetscapes, and recreational reserves.

About the Role:

As an Arborist, you will be responsible for the maintenance, care, and preservation of trees in public areas. This includes tree pruning, removals, planting, and ensuring safety compliance. You'll work as part of a professional team committed to enhancing urban greenery and delivering high-quality arboricultural services.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Tree pruning, removal, planting, and maintenance
✔ Operating and maintaining arboriculture equipment
✔ Identifying and managing workplace risks
✔ General landscaping tasks (irrigation, paving, bollard installation)
✔ Completing documentation and reports as required
✔ Providing excellent service to the community

What We're Looking For:

✅ Certificate III in Arboriculture/Horticulture or equivalent experience
✅ Experience in tree maintenance, pruning, and safe work practices at heights
✅ MR Licence and White Card (essential)
✅ Strong knowledge of tree species and best arboricultural practices
✅ Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team

Desirable Qualifications:

✔ Certificate II in Electrotechnology
✔ High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform (11m+)
