About the role:

- Rate: $81.70ph including casual loading, plus super.
As the Manager, PMO, you will lead the strategic planning and governance of a major reform program, ensuring effective program management, risk management, and performance evaluation. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across government and external agencies, providing expert advice and fostering strong partnerships to drive reform initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and lead the strategic planning process for reform initiatives, ensuring effective program delivery.
Oversee the program management function, including risk assessment, resource planning, and project coordination.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor program progress and effectiveness.
Design and manage program governance structures, ensuring clarity of responsibility and accountability.
Lead program reporting, including updates to the Minister, government agencies, and key governance bodies.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders to negotiate successful outcomes.
Provide expert strategic advice and support to executive leadership, project leads, and coordination teams.
Promote and maintain a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to WHS guidelines and policies.
About You:
Extensive experience in leading complex strategic programs using contemporary program management approaches.
Proven expertise in implementing and managing program management systems, structures, and methodologies.
Strong knowledge of program governance, reporting, and evaluation frameworks within government settings.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of influencing and building strategic partnerships.
High-level written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing strategic reports and presenting to senior stakeholders.
