Design Manager - Wastewater

As the Design Manager, you will act as the primary engineering representative, overseeing technical teams to deliver timely, cost-effective, and accurate designs for wastewater projects.

Location: Adelaide CBD
Contract: Casual Full-Time, 6 Months (ASAP Start)
Hourly Rate: $70 - $80 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

• Champion health and safety compliance, including adherence to Safety in Design standards.
• Plan and deliver effective design solutions, ensuring milestones, costs, and project deadlines are met.
• Oversee design quality, ensuring alignment with technical standards and review mechanisms.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear updates on project progress and changes.
• Inspire and lead multidisciplinary technical teams, fostering a culture of high performance.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and continuously improve design processes and documentation.

• Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (essential).
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Project or Business Management (desirable).
  • Extensive experience in managing designs for water infrastructure projects, including wastewater systems.
