CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our client in Silverwater. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proven experience operating CNC machines, and proficiency in programming to produce high-quality brake rotors. Shift: 7am - 3pm

Duties of the role:

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Load raw materials and parts onto the machine and monitor the machining process.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications and ensure precision and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery or finished products and make necessary corrections.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

About you:

• Proven commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• CNC certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality workmanship.
• Collaborative team player with clear and effective communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities, supported by knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
