Warehouse Administrator
Location: Melbourne
Work Type: Casual
HOBAN have multiple warehouse administration and logistics roles across a number of Warehouses and Distribution centres in Melbourne. From short/ long term assignments across the Melbourne's western suburbs.
General duties and responsibilities can include but not limited to:
- Promptly attend to enquiries/communication received via phone and email
- Provide general administration support such as data entry, filing and document generation
- Quality assurance of inventory, logistics or services provided
- Quotations of work and pricing
- Management of logistics and fleet management
- Coordinate booking and tracking of local and international shipments
- Keep the customer continually updated on the status of jobs including delivery and collection ETAs
- Inventory management
Personal qualities that you will hold
- High level of personal drive and enthusiasm to complete key tasks
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills - both verbal and written
- High level of attention to detail, numeracy, literacy and problem-solving skills
- High level of effective time management to ensure timely completion of key tasks in a busy environment
- A genuine 'can do' attitude and a strong desire to deliver excellent customer service experiences and outcomes
Skills and Experience
- Previous customer service experience within warheousing with a proven ability to understand, meet and exceed customer expectations
- Ability to learn quickly on the job (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with confident, friendly personality
- Exceptional communication skills (written/verbal), listening skills and telephone manner
- Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Fast, accurate typing and high attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with customers internal and external.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
