HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our client's team located predominantly at the Woden CIT Campus ACT.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the campus remains a clean, safe, and hygienic space for students and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing general cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with best practices
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas
- Ensuring stock levels for cleaning supplies are maintained
- Adhering to workplace health and safety (WHS) standards
- Delivering high-quality cleaning services under routine supervision
- Upholding ACTPS values, including equity, diversity, and workplace safety

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in commercial cleaning, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including colour-coded cleaning processes
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- A valid driver's licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- A current or willingness to obtain a Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration
