About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse / WH Team Leader to support day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, dispatch, stock control and delivery functions.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate tasks across a busy depot environment. You will also support stock management processes, including identifying low stock items and raising purchase orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming and outgoing orders
- Coordinate dispatch of goods and materials
- Maintain accurate stock records and warehouse systems
- Run and interpret reports to support inventory management
- Identify low stock items and raise purchase orders as required
- Support general warehouse operations and team coordination
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of goods
- Drive Council vehicles (if MR licence held) to deliver items across:
- Penrith
- Western Sydney
- Blue Mountains region
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and with a clear driving record
- Operate forklift (counterbalance experience required)
- Support depot safety, compliance and housekeeping standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous warehouse, logistics or stores experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to run basic reports and use computer systems confidently
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance experience essential)
- MR driver's licence (desirable; support can be provided if not held)
- Clean driving record (for delivery responsibilities)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
- Proactive approach to identifying stock and operational needs
