About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in Launceston. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will manage day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise workshop staff, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment.
- Customer Interaction: Handle counter sales and phone inquiries, and prepare quotes for workshop services.
- Order Management: Process orders received via phone and email, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment, including hydraulic systems.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion safety standards, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with WHS policies.
What You Bring
- Trade Qualification: Experience in fitting, machining, and using manual lathes.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Hydraulics Knowledge: Experience in hydraulic systems is advantageous.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
