Roles may be offered on a full time or part time basis and may be based in Brisbane or other locations depending on business needs. Specific agency, contract length, security requirements and work arrangements will vary and are not yet confirmed.

Role titles and duties may differ between agencies, however expectations at each APS or AO level are broadly comparable.
Typical Responsibilities
- While duties will vary by role and level, responsibilities may include:
- Providing high quality administrative or operational support to teams and stakeholders
- Supporting participants, clients, advocates or service users through clear communication and accurate processing
- Assisting with policy, program or project activities including research, coordination and reporting
- Managing records, correspondence, data and systems in line with government standards
- Preparing briefings, reports and documentation for internal and external use
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and business processes
- Engaging professionally with internal teams, external partners and the community
What We Are Looking For
- We are interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience in a government, regulatory, corporate or service delivery environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A collaborative and professional approach to work
- For APS5 or AO5 roles, the ability to work with a degree of autonomy and provide guidance to others
Formal qualifications, clearance requirements and technical skills will depend on the specific role and agency and are not yet defined.
APS and AO Level Guidance
As a general guide:
- APS3 or AO3 roles suit candidates with developing experience who require guidance
- APS4 or AO4 roles suit candidates with demonstrated experience and the ability to work independently
- APS5 or AO5 roles suit candidates with solid experience, sound judgement and responsibility for more complex tasks
